Our Tutors - Neil Bennett

Neil Bennett has worked as a senior correspondent for the BBC reporting for television, radio and the BBC website. Most recently, he was Crime Correspondent covering major issues in policing, terrorism and the criminal justice system generally.
Neil was also Ireland and Home Affairs Correspondent and has specialised in health journalism.
From 1995-2001, he was Sports Correspondent for TV News reporting live and recorded for all the main news programmes. He covered the Olympics in Atlanta and in 1996 and Sydney in 2000.
He reported regularly on football, cricket and rugby World Cups. Neil's role was to cover the "front page" as well as the "back page" stories in sport. He has reported extensively on drugs, corruption and politics in world sport.
Neil now works mainly as a media trainer but also delivers courses in communication skills such as effective writing and presentation.
