Most people lose count of the number of presentations they've sat through while looking at their watch, that they've slept through or where they've forgotten the presenter because the slides took over. This is not a good advertisement for your company or your presenter.
In many presentations the slides become a lazy camouflage for poor presentation. The speakers often lack confidence in their own performance; they struggle to command the stage and hold the audience.
